Hermes Carpet

Originally designed by the great Issa Bahadori, this piece takes its name from the bold orange tones woven into it. A larger version of the same design, woven by Master Gholamali Khan Safdarzadeh Haghighi, is housed in the Iran Carpet Museum.

I reimagined the original 3.5×5m layout into a 2×3m format, crafted by Master Jafargholi Fadakar, while preserving the form and enhancing the animals with lively, diverse colors.
